See The Light! {Giveaway}

Art ~ Beauty ~ God’s creations…

They are all around us! From the peaceful sparkle of freshly fallen snow, to the first peeks of gentle flower buds welcoming the arrival of long-awaited spring, they whole earth is full of His glory!

Do you love art? Do you home-school or teach art? Have you always wanted to take up the hobby of drawing, but you are not quite sure where to start? If so, I am so happy to introduce you to “See the Light“!

“See the Light” is a very new and exciting product, the dream of creator, Pat Holt. Pat is an author, speaker, and educator. Pat’s innovative new program uses a combination of foundational Bible stories with interactive art, drawing instruction, music, and drama.

Pat says:  “My passion is to help raise a generation of young people who know the God of the Bible, who love to love, trust, obey, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and bring honor and glory to His name. My hope is that See The Light will truly draw children to Him so that they can know just how much God loves them, what the sacrifice of His Son really means, and the length that the Lord goes to show His grace and mercy to all of us.”

What a blessing! I have been so encouraged in my communication with Pat by her enthusiasm and sincerity in her desire to serve our Lord!

    I homeschooled for 15 yrs, and this sounds like somehthing I would have loved using then. I really like having a product that can be used for more than one ‘class’, in this case Bible, and ‘Art’. The art project could be used for an after school project, or maybe a project for Sunday School, or a Bible club craft project. I’d love to see the CD’s myself.

    I like the way they integrate bible into the lessons! And also how the lessons are short and to the point for kids.

    I’d love to win the STL giveaway to use with my children who are homeschooled. We currently use “Draw & Write Through History” which we love, but we will finish the book at the end of the school year. It would be such a blessing to win this giveaway and have one less curriculum lesson to buy next year. :)

      Oh I forget to say what I liked most…hehe! What I like most about STL is that there are DVD versus me teaching each lesson. A lesson such as this can help the children to work more independently and at their own pace.

    what I liked most about it was that it is what it is and focused on children. There are some art programs out there for children in the homeschool world, but this is uniquely celebrating art the way God does; that his creation is art and that we are worshiping Him by celebrating HIS beautiful works.

    I think this is a great idea. Art is something I’m not as well versed at, and having a dvd to help teach the concepts would be great.
