Today I want to say a special thank you to some blogging friends that were so willing and enthusiastic about jumping on board with me to hold the “Heart Against Hunger” virtual food drive. Since they have joined me in spreading the word and displaying the food drive button on their blogs, we have had several donations and are currently up to $200! That provides almost one THOUSAND meals! Thank you to everyone who has donated, and please continue to spread the word!
I would love to get 1300 more people to donate only $1 each to provide over TEN THOUSAND meals! Come on, we can do it!
I have several more blogs to feature, and will be featuring each blog in an upcoming post. If YOU would like to have your blog featured here, please just grab the “Hearts Against Hunger” button from the sidebar and spread the word about the virtual food drive. Then, email me to let me know and I will feature you too!
Tammy’s Two Cents
Tammy is a fun, friendly, SO sweet stay-at-home mom of two. She writes primarily for women! She loves to try out items, put them through the “Tammy Test”, and write honest, helpful reviews. Check out this list of all of the recent reviews she has done — Tammy is one busy lady! She also has the BEST giveaways!!! In fact, right now she is giving away a Tom and Jerry “Fur Flying Adventure” movie and a McCormick Recipe Inspirations — World Flavors Kit. Hurry and enter to win! Be sure to sign up for her emails!
Magnolia Grace
One of my favorite things about (finally) joining Twitter is meeting great new friends. One of them just happens to be the lovely Brooke at Magnolia Grace. Brooke is such a gifted writer. She wrote a beautiful guest post at inCourage (one of my favorite websites) and I am always so uplifted by her writing… like her recent “Taking A Ride“. For all you creative types, you MUST check out her stamps which debuted at California Dreamin. I was also fortunate enough to work with her on her recent blog design, and she is so sweet!!!
Faithful Always
I just can’t say enough about Sydney! She has such a beautiful heart. I would love to meet her in person! She is an advocate for Down’s Syndrome orphans and has such a heart for these precious children. She also is a world-champion encourager, and I am so thankful for her! Her writing is poignant and powerful (like the recent “Stronger“) and has the gift of encouraging others through everyday life (“Inspiration by Song“).
I truly want to sincerely thank each of you for being such a blessing to me, and for raising awareness of childhood hunger!
More blogs to come…. (and hopefully YOURS!)
