Valentine’s Day is a wonderful time to reinforce to your children not only how much you love them, but also how much they are loved by God! Today’s giveaway is a wonderful book that does just that!

An “I Love You” Prayer by Amy Parker is the second book in the new “Time to Pray” series. This book is all about the many ways that God shows His love for us, including rainbows, flowers, and special friends! It also  emphasizes the importance of showing love to others.

My sons are 7 and 3, and they both really enjoyed the book. The words are easy enough for big brother to read to little brother!

The illustrations are so beautiful, and my youngest son kept giving the puppy “kisses”!

Check out this adorable Flipbook of the book! Also, be sure to grab this FREE Valentine template for your children to make a Valentine for God! I would love to see their wonderful creations! Please feel free to post their designs here or on my Facebook page!

GIVEAWAY:

To enter to win a copy of this book, please leave a comment (either how you would answer or how your kids would answer), filling in this blank: “God’s love is like _____”

Good luck!

Giveaway is open to U.S. Residents only and will end on Saturday, Feb 11 at midnight EST

Disclosure: I was given one copy of this book in order to provide an honest review. All opinions given are my own, and I was not compensated in any way to provide a positive review.

My 8 yr old daughter loves to dance in the sunshine. She says God’s love is like sunshine, it warms us to the middle and even when the sunshine is behind the clouds or on the other side of the earth we know it is still there, just like God’s love. We now call sunshine “loveshine”.

My daughter (20 months) would love this book. I’m not sure what she would say God’s love is but I think God’s love is like hot cocoa. It is warm and comforting.
