Please say hello to my featured blog friends for the month of April!
Stacy blogs at “Finding Purpose in the Pain” and centers her blogging on the encouraging message of 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. Stacy says:
I want to bless and encourage people who are struggling by sharing the lessons the Lord has taught me through having severe fibromyalgia since childhood. I think that whether a person struggles with chronic pain or disease or just the everyday business of life my hope is that they will see something in the words I write that will draw them closer to Jesus. And if someone don’t know Him as their savior I pray that they will. If they are a believer but aren’t living a life fully yielded to Him I pray that they’ll be encouraged to grab hold of the abundant life and purposes He has for them. If the pain and circumstances of life have become a burden that has stopped someone from being all that God wants them to be I pray they’ll find victory in Him, give their burdens over to Him and trust that He can use them exactly as they are!
My own life is so far from perfect and that’s why I blog and most recently have been doing videos (vlogs) as well. I’ve learned a lot of things the hard way and I pray my stories may spare others the same pain. In addition to sharing my journey with fibromyalgia, I also enjoy blogging about my adventures as a nanny, frugal living, and helping the least of these.

Please meet my sweet friend, Barbie, of “My Freshly Brewed Life“!
I live in Northern California with my husband and four amazing children. I am privileged to be employed full time at my local House of Prayer, where I also serve as a singer and intercessor. If I were to meet you face to face, I would give you a big hug, offer you multiple cups of coffee and side dishes of chocolate and popcorn. I invite you to come alone with me on a journey of going deeper in God. I hope that as I share my life with you, that you will find hope, rest and encouragement. May your roots go down deep into the rich soil of His everlasting love!

Di describe her beautiful, blog “Cottage-Wishes” as:
My blog, “Cottage-Wishes“, is about the things I love about life and the objects I find, design and decorate for my cottage. At first my wishes for a cottage is what drove my desire to share about the move from Orlando to Asheville. My husband and I had a life changing challenge with cancer and we wanted to move closer to our children. I always loved getting on line and reading such fun projects and encouraging words from everyone, I wanted to be one of those people. So, when I moved I started writing about our journey. I had time to try new projects, explore the city and play with my grandchildren and nieces. What adventures we have had and what fun I had discovering new people and blogs.
Di also has an Etsy shop! Be sure to stop by and visit to see the beautiful creations Di makes! She has many beautiful, vintage treasures! Di also has a booth at Flat Creek Pickers, a cute shop in Asheville off of Merrimon Ave. If you are in Asheville, please stop by and say hello to Di!
