Veggie Tales DVD Giveaway! {Spring Giveaway Week}

Welcome to Day 2 of our Spring Giveaway Week! All week I will be sharing some wonderful giveaways! You don’t want to miss them!

SpringGiveawayWeek

Today, I am so excited to share a brand new DVD from our friends at Veggie Tales! In fact, the DVD releases TODAY!

VeggieTales

Our family received a pre-release copy to review and absolutely loved it! I am amazed at the vast number of stories Veggie Tales brings to life, but they never get old because each one is completely new and fresh. We are huge fans of Veggie Tales, and The Little House That Stood would be a wonderful addition to your home DVD library.

About The Little House That Stood
When the Three Little Pigs roll into Cabbageville looking to build some new houses, they meet one builder with a plan and two without a clue! Larry builds with hay, Mr. Lunt with bricks, but only Bob builds his houses on a firm foundation – following the wise plans from the Master Builder’s Handbook! Will the Little Piggies make the right choices when it comes to building their houses – and their lives – on solid ground? Find out in this parable that shows kids when they follow God’s blueprints, then can stand strong when the storms come!
Check out this trailor! We love the songs!

This story is absolutely delightful! My children gave it “two thumbs up” (their words) and in fact, they watched it three times after we watched it together to review! I may have to set a “Veggie Tales” limit. Ha! Actually, I am completely delighted that they love Veggie Tales! It’s a DVD (and company) our whole family enjoys! In the car, they were singing the “silly song” from the DVD too … which made me chuckle.

I’m in charge of the preschool class at my church. There are a few Veggie Tales in there and this would be a great addition! I personally don’t have a fav since I’ve never sat down to view one all the way thru – but from what I’ve seen, they’re adorable! :)

  2. Marci H says

Hard to narrow it down to just ONE Veggie Tales movie. All of them are great in their own right. I simply love their messages and cuteness.

  3. Marci H says

Went to the website and I like being able to download coloring pages so my child can color during or after the movie.

  4. Candice M says

I love all the Veggie Tales movies, my kids learn to dance and sing the opening song from the time they can get jiggy with it:) My kids’ current favorite is the Incredible Vegetables. Its cute.

  5. Candice M says

Went to the website and I like the Happy Tooth Day coloring page because my son is soon to loose his two front teeth and that’s a cute idea to join with it, instead of Tooth Fairy:)

  9. Leann says

Our favorite Veggie Tales video probably is the Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything. My son LOVES it. My Daughter on the other hand doesn’t really have a favorite yet. I love being able to put them on and not worry that something inappropriate is going to be said. That and they are not so boring my husband and I can’t watch them too.

  10. Virginia Frost says

My oldest grandchildren loved these. Now we have a two almost three year old grandchild. I know she would love these as much as my other grandchildren did when they were growing up.

  11. says

King George and the Ducky is our favorite. That is one Bible story I never expected to get translated into a children’s story.

I’d love to have this DVD at my house for when my grandson comes to visit. :) What a blessing it would be to sit down and watch it with him – when he gets old enough, of course.

  14. Jennifer Boehme says

Any of the downloadable coloring pages are nice to use in Sunday School for the kids.

I love them all! ONE fave would be the one w/lots of silly songs… my daughter and oldest grandson STILL like that and the “hairbrush” song…. makes mt heart smile……

  17. Vanessa says

the one i remember the most is the about the little ducky and tells the story of King David

  18. Janelle says

I think the story of Daniel is still my favorite. It was the first Veggie movie I ever watched, and it was actually before I had kids; my music theory professor for my undergrad brought it in to show the class an example of counterpoint in composition (when the three celery stalks are conpiring about how to get rid of the pickle). I’ve been enjoying the stories and music ever since.
